Important Information on CQ Loan payments

Due to these unprecedented times of unemployment and economic uncertainty, Career Quest announced today that it will allow students to defer their CQ Loan payments through December 31, 2020. If a student wants to continue making their CQ Loan payments they can do so without interruption in an effort to further reduce their student debt. For other students who may be more financially challenged at this time, they can defer CQ Loan payments through the end of 2020 without penalty. Each student will be able to choose which path is best for them.  Career Quest continues to be sensitive to the needs of its students and strives to ease the burden of students whenever it can. If a CQ student has any additional questions they can contact their respective Financial Aid Officer.

Career Quest Learning Centers COVID-19 Preparedness and Response Plan

Attached is the updated CQ COVID-19 Preparedness and Response Plan. Please take a moment to read it.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY any employee/student/vendor or visitor will be required to read/sign the Appendix B Acknowledgement on Page 8 of this plan upon entering the building. While the entire plan will be available on our website, you only need to present/have signed the Appendix B Acknowledgement. 

If you cannot print page 8 before entering the campus, we will have copies provided for you to sign.

Just a reminder that the protocols called out in this plan are both State and Federal mandates.

Please let your Campus President or Designated Worksite Supervisor (on page 7) know if you have any questions!

Career Quest Students,

As you know, the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted Michiganders from all over. With rising unemployment rates, Career Quest is willing and ready to help anyone who may be searching for new career opportunities.

Recently, CQ has opened up our enrollment to the entire state of Michigan. Online learning gives us a unique opportunity to offer our career training programs to anyone, anywhere in the state. See below for some reminders on Career Quest’s available enrollment discounts. If you have a friend or family member who we may be able to help, be sure to reach out to your Admissions Representative.


Graduate Together Tuition Discount

The Graduate Together Tuition Discount offers a discount to friends and family members of students who attend Career Quest at the same time as the current student. The discount is 10% of the total tuition cost for each friend or family member and is applied to any remaining tuition balance for the current student.


Dislocated Worker Discount

Do you know someone who has been dislocated or displaced from their current job? Career Quest is proud to offer a 15% tuition discount to help ease them through the transition. Whether they’ve been laid off, are struggling with self-employment, or are a displaced stay-at-home parent, we’re ready to assist. To be eligible, students must provide proper documentation and meet outlined criteria.

We recently made a tiny change to our website( The ‘make a payment’ link is now located under ‘student links,’ the same place they access their portal or Moodle.

Just wanted to make sure you are aware if you are trying to make a payment electronically.

I know that there has been a lot of questions circulating about Manuals for the next Mod. I hope you know we are doing everything here at Career Quest to ensure your safety and health. With that being said, all Manuals will be placed into Moodle Rooms for next mod.

We always want to make sure you have all of your resources to be successful. But risking your health to come to our campus to pick up a manual is not an option. Please do not be upset with your instructor or anyone at the campus. If you are upset at anyone, take it out on me!!!

Before you do, I hope that you know this is the best decision we could make for you. We want nothing more than to provide the education that you deserve. Most importantly, the safety of you and your family.

If I have missed anything that cannot be provided in Moodle Rooms, let me know. I will make sure it is there for you.
