Important Notice to Students

by Stephanie Nye -

Career Quest Students,

For more than a quarter century, Career Quest Learning Centers, Inc. has served the communities where its campuses reside with a committed focus on its students. This commitment is evidenced by its record of outstanding completion, placement, and licensure benchmark achievement.

Over the past several years, Career Quest Learning Centers, Inc. has faced a number of extreme obstacles - most notably, the COVID-19 pandemic, and more recently, the COVID-19 Delta variant. Each of these crises have placed extreme pressure on the institution’s resources and finances.

In light of the significant challenges brought by the COVID pandemic, Career Quest has made the very difficult decision to cease operations effective 9/17/21, the last day of the current Module. To ensure first and foremost that the impact on you, our student, is kept to a minimum, Career Quest has collaborated with Ross Education (Ross) to accept Career Quest students for the following programs:

  • Medical Assistant
  • Medical Billing & Coding
  • Medical Office Administration Degree
  • Ophthalmic Assistant
  • Administrative Assistant
  • Business Administration Degree

If you are interested in completing your education through the Ross teach-out, click below to sign up:

Start Your Career Training with Ross (rosseducation.edu)

The Ross teach-out is available for all currently enrolled Career Quest students, including those students on leaves of absence, and for former students who withdrew from Career Quest while in good academic standing in the last six months.

For those of you who are enrolled in the HVAC-R, Network Administration, and Network Administration Degree programs, we are still working to secure a teach-out partnership for each of these programs. We have good indications these will work out and we have several regionally-accredited colleges who have the potential to take our credits. We will be sure to send any updates we have to applicable students.

We apologize for not communicating this with you before now, but we hoped to have ALL of the details worked out before making announcements. We also hoped for alternatives that would allow Career Quest to continue operations. None of these worked out.

We are working as diligently as possible to make sure that you have the opportunity to complete your education goals and join the workforce, as a Ross graduate, with as little disruption as possible. We deeply regret the necessity of this decision and wish you the very best as you continue your career preparedness.

If you have additional questions about Ross Education or regarding the transfer process, please sign up at this link to be placed on the contact list. You may also reach out to Allison McConnell, VP of Admissions at 810-300-3690. Career Quest is working to develop a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page for students. It will be updated daily and up on our website soon. You will receive another email once the page is up. Questions for Career Quest Learning Centers can be emailed to questions@careerquest.edu. We will try our best to get back with you as soon as possible. You can find more information from Ross Education on the process of transferring at this link: https://rosseducation.edu/students/career-quest/.
