Participation in Class!

Career Quest would like to make sure that the entire student body is aware of how participation in class (on-campus) is so vital to the success of your program.

Career Quest strives to bring you the education and structure you need to be successful in your new career. Participation in class (on-campus) is a huge part of the educational experience you will gain in your chosen field.

  • On-Campus assignment points are made up of 50% participation and 50% completion of the assignment (if the assignment is 100 points, then 50 pts are awarded for being in attendance and 50 pts is the maximum received for the assignment completion).

  • If you are absent on an on-campus day, you will lose the 50% participation (50 pts as stated in the example above) and you will lose 10% each day off the assignment portion of the points (50 pts) up to three days and then the grade becomes a “0” zero.

Our grading system here at Career Quest weighs heavily on participation in class.

By making the choice to not attend class, you are putting your grade at risk which can result in failing the class. If this happens, you will be required to repay the full amount for this failed class (approximately $1350/failed class). Not only does this put a large dent in your financial obligation, but it will extend your graduation date until the class is offered again or you may be dropped from the program due to the class availability.

We hope you make the choice to participate with full engagement in your education.   We are here to help you succeed!!
